More Flynn-Russia Connections

Via the NYT:  Michael Flynn Failed to Disclose Income From Russia-Linked Entities.

Michael T. Flynn, the national security adviser who was forced out of the job in February, failed to list payments from Russia-linked entities on the first of two financial disclosure forms released Saturday by the Trump administration.

[…]

Mr. Flynn has faced fierce criticism for the Moscow speech and for his lobbying efforts for Turkey. But the work paid well, and the disclosure forms showed income of nearly $1.5 million, a sizable amount for a man who left the military less than three years ago.

Remember, Trump repeatedly stated that his team had no contacts with the Russians. Everytime something surfaces, he admits to only the precise detail that is revealed.

    These people are traitors.

From theHill.com, this is Trump yesterday:

President Trump on Saturday called for NBC News to devote more attention to his unproven claims that President Obama spied on him and stop covering the investigations into Russia’s interference in the election.

“When will Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd and @NBCNews start talking about the Obama SURVEILLANCE SCANDAL and stop with the Fake Trump/Russia story?” Trump tweeted just before 9 a.m.

“It is the same Fake News Media that said there is ‘no path to victory for Trump’ that is now pushing the phony Russia story. A total scam!” he added shortly after.

It’s going to take dogged reporting, and hopefully, an inevitable leak or disclosure by someone close to Trump to cause this house of cards to fall.

It’s like every day we discover something new about the Trump campaign being in bed with the Russians. Every other day?

This is the worst coverup ever. Where is the in house investigation that identifies a dozen sketchy things we didn’t know about, pins the blame on two low level staffers, and dominates the news for a few weeks while the administration’s supporters tell us that everything substantive has been revealed and it is time to move on to governing the country?

It’s the incompetence that I find most galling. Well, that and the potential treason and compromised presidency.

Why don’t the Russians demand better?

As are people like Nunes and Ryan. At this point we don’t know for sure what happened, but Nunes is actively blocking further House investigation. And Ryan seems to support him.
